1 cup milk
3 cups corn cereal, finely crushed
Salt and pepper to taste
- Dip chicken in milk.
- Coat chicken in crushed cereal. (It helps to first put the crushed cereal in a bag, and drop the chicken in the bag and shake to coat.)
- Place chicken in slow cooker. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Cover; cook on low 4-6 hours.
- If you wish, bone-in chicken pieces can be substituted for the boneless breasts.
- The chicken becomes crunchy if you bake it instead in an oven at 400 degrees F for approximately an hour or until done.
